Schuba’s on Southport and Belmont is a cozy, intimate joint and the setting for The Cave Singers performance last night. So intimate in fact, that it sold out 20 minutes before I arrived. Thankfully, I recognized Peter Quirk, the lead singer and he put me on the list. It is funny how things work out sometimes, the crowd was diggin the show and I must admit if The Cave Singers are anywhere near Chicago again, I will be there with a purchased ticket in hand. There was a strong connection at the show last night, this talented band is only going to spread. Enjoy:
