A couple years ago when I was still living in Colorado, I travelled over to Chicago for my interview with the partners of the firm I currently work with. I conveniently planned it for the same weekend as Lollapalooza. I am smarter than I look. I was thinking about this last night, when I heard “Fake Plastic Trees” by one of the greatest rock bands Radiohead. Now, my buddy Charlie Owen who works for the Vail Daily edited my article a bit and in my defense the opening line in the third paragraph was “one of my heroes” NOT rock star…but I will take the publishing whatever it takes. Take what you can get, I heard someone say once. That Friday night Radiohead show was one of the most amazing performances I have ever been a part of. I still love the end of the article, “It wears me out, and it wears me out.” Click HERE for my article that was published (surprisingly) in the Vail Daily.

Below, “House of Cards” by Radiohead off their last album “In Rainbows”
I found this video from the show, Fake Plastic Trees comes on at about 4.5 minutes in…gave me the chills again, you can tell how the crowd is blown away!
