The First Time at Lincoln Hall

Lincoln Hall
Free. Alive. Grinning. Standing outside the brand new venue that is Lincoln Hall I knew I would get in. I knew it, I felt it as I have before in moments like these at a sold out show with no ticket in hand. But, I sure did not think I would be let in for free by the tour manager, Andy. No words were said by him, he just looked at me, asked me how many tickets I needed and let me in the side door with a stamp. Just one ticket… Kerouac’s word represented so brightly by Gibbard and so deeply with Farrar’s voice. A night full of smiles. They are only playing 6 shows, and I was part of one of them. Thank you for the inspiration. The boys of Schubas have done well inviting the right people in, and it is only the beginning. Lincoln Hall.
